Docs / Alliance (cross-org)
Shared events
Announce an event once and it posts to every allied org’s Discord, each by their own bot.
Once two orgs are paired (see pairing with an ally), sharing an event is a single toggle.
Sharing an event
Create or edit an event as usual (Events → Create/Edit).
If you hold alliance-management rights, a "Share with alliance" switch appears on the event form. Turn it on.
Save. The event posts to your own Discord as usual, and also to every enabled ally's configured channel, labeled "via <your org>."
Cancelling
Deleting a shared event sends a short cancellation notice to every ally instead of just vanishing — so their members aren't left with a stale announcement.
What allies see
An ally's Discord gets a normal-looking announcement, times shown in each viewer's own locale, with the source org named. There's no sign-up crossover between orgs — each ally's members RSVP through their own site as they would for any local event; the alliance layer only carries the announcement itself.
