SEO & sharing
How the site describes itself to search engines and to link previews on Discord, X, and elsewhere.
Admin → Theme & Branding → SEO & Sharing controls what shows up when a page is shared as a link, and how search engines index the site.
What you can set
- Description & keywords — the meta description search engines show under your title.
- Noindex — tell search engines to skip the site entirely, useful for a private-community install that shouldn't show up in search results.
- Social image (OG image) — the picture shown when a link is pasted into Discord, X, or similar. If none is set and a sigil is enabled, the sigil's mark is used automatically.
- Theme color, Twitter handle, verification codes, social links — the smaller details that round out how the site presents itself.
Why this needs special handling
mustr is a single-page app, and crawlers and link-preview bots don't run JavaScript — they only see the raw HTML mustr's Worker serves. So these settings are injected directly into the page's HTML on the server before it's sent, not applied afterward in the browser, which is the only way link previews and search snippets can pick them up correctly.
