Interactive buttons
Discord message components (buttons) that write straight back to the site:
- Event sign-up / check-in — RSVP roles, capacities, and attendance check-in, all on the same announcement message the site itself updates.
- Tournament Register / Withdraw — on an individual (non-team) tournament's opening announcement, so members can enter straight from Discord.
Outbound announcements
The bot posts an embed, with the member's Discord avatar and the relevant award/rank image, when: a medal or war record is awarded, a member is promoted, an event opens or its sign-up sheet updates, and a tournament opens or crowns a champion. You choose the channel and which events are enabled, in Admin → Settings → Discord Bot.
The optional activity gateway
A separate, off-by-default feature: enabling it opens a persistent, low-privilege connection to Discord's Gateway solely to note which member posted on which day (for the activity heatmap described in attendance & leaderboards) — never the content of what they posted, and no privileged Discord intent is required to run it.
