What mustr does
A self-hosted community site for gaming orgs: roster, ranks, events, tournaments, training, and a real website, all kept in two-way sync with Discord.
mustr keeps a gaming org organized (members, ranks, roles, events, training, history) in one place that talks to Discord and runs on hosting that costs about nothing. Everything described here is switched on in the live demo — it isn't a mockup.
The stuff it does
Roster, ranks & roles
A member roster with a rank ladder, roles, medals, and war records, kept in two-way sync with Discord. Promote on the site and the matching Discord role and nickname update themselves.
Events, wired to Discord
Sign-up slots (Tank/Healer/DPS, whatever), capacities, banners, recurrence. RSVPs and check-in on the site and in Discord update the same list.
Tournaments
Single or double elimination, round-robin, or Swiss, for individuals or teams. It seeds the bracket, advances winners as scores come in, tracks live standings, and crowns a champion. Members can register from Discord too.
Attendance & participation
Check-ins become a participation score, leaderboards, and a GitHub-style activity heatmap on each profile. Milestone medals go out on their own.
Medals & service records
Design your own awards and war records, hand them out, and keep a service history that stays attached to the member.
Training
Embed Google Slides, mark courses required per rank, and see who's actually completed them.
Gallery & media
Image galleries with a lightbox, plus embedded YouTube/Twitch. Choose who sees each album, and there's nothing to pay for video hosting.
News & announcements
Post to the site and push to Discord, public or members-only per post.
Org chart
A drag-and-drop leadership chart that is the public roster, so new members know who to ask about what.
Apply-to-join & bans
People apply by signing in with Discord; officers approve or ban with a real ban list.
Build your own pages
Drag-and-drop modules, a dozen themes, your own logo and colors. It doesn't have to look like a template.
Alliance federation
Link with allied orgs so events and tournaments cross Discord servers, each posted by that org's own bot. Nobody shares a bot token.
Accessible by default
A per-person text-size slider and a high-contrast theme, saved to their device, covering the whole site.
One-click backups
Snapshot the entire site and restore it in a click if something breaks.
Game modules
Optional per-game extras. First up: a Star Citizen hangar import, CCU planner, and account verification.
It costs about nothing to run
mustr runs entirely inside Cloudflare's free tier. The only thing you're guaranteed to pay for is a domain name from a registrar — see the full cost & terms breakdown with a live estimator.
You own it, end to end
mustr is self-hosted: your own Cloudflare account, your own database, your own Discord app. There's no mustr company in the middle that can raise prices, sunset the product, or see your members' data.
From 2003 to now
2003 — ClanTek
A PHP/MySQL clan site built for a gaming community, back when every clan hand-rolled its own website.
2020s — Discord takes over
Communities move to Discord, but roles, events, and rosters still get managed by hand across a dozen places.
2026 — mustr
A ground-up rebuild on Cloudflare Workers, with Discord as the login and control surface. Same idea, modern everything.
Getting your own copy
One click forks the project into your GitHub and provisions everything on Cloudflare automatically. A first-run wizard walks you through connecting Discord and claiming ownership. Full walkthrough: setting it up.
