Game modules
Optional per-game extras an admin can switch on. The first is Star Citizen: a hangar import, CCU planner, and account verification.
Admin → Settings → Modules lets you switch on optional, per-game features. Every module is off by default, so a fresh install shows nothing extra until an admin turns one on.
Star Citizen (the first module)
Three related features, each independently toggleable:
- Hangar import. A member exports their own fleet from their logged-in RSI account using a browser bookmarklet (installed once, from their profile) that copies the data to their clipboard entirely client-side — mustr's servers never touch RSI for this. They paste it into their profile, and it's shown as a categorized, searchable fleet list.
- CCU planner. Lay out Cross-Chassis-Upgrade chains — hulls you already own plus ones you're planning to buy — to see what a chain resolves to and where the gaps are.
- Account verification. A member proves they control an RSI account by placing a one-time code in their public RSI bio; mustr checks it (and their public org membership) with a single request to their public citizen page. Nothing private is ever accessed, and no RSI credentials are ever stored.
A hangar can be kept private or shared with other members who hold the hangar-viewing permission; the monetary value shown is a separate, further-gated permission, since it's the one field most worth keeping quiet.
Hangar data comes from what the member pastes in, so it can't be cryptographically verified against RSI (there's no official API). It's labeled "self-reported" everywhere it's shown, and the separate account-verification feature is the real trust anchor if that matters to your org.
More modules
The module framework is built to be reusable for other games with their own APIs (EVE Online, Destiny 2, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2 are natural next candidates) — each would follow the same pattern: an optional toggle, an admin panel section, and a profile section that only shows once enabled.
